SERVICE TECHNICIAN -

Both our Sunnyvale and Milpitas locations are looking for motivated individuals who have great attitudes, are trained in small engine repair, and are tired of working in a dump for someone you don’t like!

Service technicians are expected to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair a variety of garden equipment in a timely manner.  All technicians will be responsible for processing job tickets and documenting job details through our computer system. 

• All employees must be able to read, speak and write in English. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer use.
• Full-time. Earn $45,000 per year + great benefits.

 

 

PARTS DEPARTMENT SPECIALIST -

MMI Power Equipment specializes in the sales and service of landscape equipment for both homeowners and landscape professionals.  Though we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and servicing, it is the lasting relationship with our customers that has earned our company a reputation as a leader in the power equipment industry.

Both our Sunnyvale and Milpitas locations are looking for motivated individuals to work in our parts departments. Parts department employees in both locations order, receive, process and stock equipment and parts. It is essential that employees in this department are detail oriented and have a firm grasp of basic computer processing. At MMI, our organized and efficient parts department is vital to the productivity of both our serving department and counter sales. Candidates must be prepared to take on the responsibility of monitoring stocking needs and the flow of parts and information.  We expect that candidates will have experience in POS systems and parts look-up or can prove the capacity to learn these systems quickly.

COUNTER SALES -

Our Sunnyvale and Milpitas locations are looking for outgoing individuals with a “can-do” attitude to be the face of our company at our sales counters.  Counter sales employees initiate the relationship between our customers and the products and service MMI provides.  Daily activities include: assisting customers on the showroom, generating bids and quotes, using technical and product tools to identify parts and equipment for customers, opening equipment service tags, and compiling product packages.

As counter sales, MMI expects each of its employees to continually seek technical and product knowledge. We are looking for a reliable candidate who is willing to stay abreast of new developments and come to work everyday with a positive and refreshing attitude.

• All employees must be able to read, speak and write in English. Bilingual candidates are seriously preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer use; all counter sales processes are PC based.

DELIVERY DRIVER - 

MMI is looking for a driver with a clean driving record and a friendly disposition. A driver with an interest in landscape equipment is a plus! Deliveries to customers and inter-store transfers will be completed using a 16’ Isuzu cargo van, Ford F150 and trailer as required. Equipment requiring delivery will vary in size and location within the bay area. Drivers will be expected to load and unload all equipment.

A training of basic equipment knowledge will be required upon hire.

• Background check will be preformed.  
• Part time: 2-3 days a week. Wages based on merit.
